Junior Service and Support Engineer

Job description

ESTECO SpA is looking for a Junior Service and Support Engineer for its headquarter in Trieste (Italy).


 

About the Job

The selected candidate will work in the company Service & Support team and will be involved in
customer/channel partner support, documentation production, testing and tasks related to ESTECO
products.

Main tasks will include:

  • Taking care of the technical support for customers/ channel partners
  • Product testing of specific features
  • Collaboration in the production of documentation related to use cases and product demos
  • Possible short and long term transfer for in-loco customer/channel partner support assignments

Job term 

One-year fixed-term contract, then converted to a permanent contract.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • MSc in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (MS)
    • Proficiency in engineering software including CAD, FEM, CFD and other CAE tools
    • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux OS and programming languages (e.g. C, VisualBasic, JavaScript or others)
    • Fluent spoken and written English and Italian
    • Willingness to frequently travel for short/long periods
    • Good communication (Italian and English) and teamwork skills both for internal and external
      purposes
    • Good reporting skills and ability to produce effective and clear working documentation
    • Ability and willingness to work on different multidisciplinary projects
    • Proven ability in achieving assigned project goals

    The following skills are appreciated:

    • Background in design optimization, especially experience with modeFRONTIER
    • Experience in statistical analysis and engineering numerical methods
