Communication Specialist - 12 months maternity leave

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Communications Specialist to manage our external and internal communications. You will join a team of expert communicators and marketeers to promote our company and engineering products images.

Phenomenal communication and copywriting skills together with experience in corporate communications and project management are important qualities. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude will make the difference in this position.
The contract is a 12 months maternity replacement. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective communication strategies

  • Manage internal communications

  • Draft content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or company website

  • Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences

  • Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.

  • Foster relationships with advocates and key persons

  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to produce copy for advertisements or articles

  • Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership

  • Coordinate website projects

  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to define and implement social media and email campaigns

Job requirements

  • BSc/BA in public relations, communications or relevant field

  • Proven experience as communications specialist

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills

  • Experience in content strategy

  • Experience in copywriting and editing

  • Understanding of project management principles

  • Working knowledge of MS Office

  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities

  • Proficient command of English
