ESTECO SpA is hiring Automation Test Engineers for its Pune, India office.

What you’ll be doing

You will work in an Agile team, implementing automation testing solutions and ensuring the quality of our products, that is web and desktop applications developed in Java SE/EE, JavaScript and HTML frameworks.

You will be able to:

• work on automation testing of our Desktop application

• work on automation testing of our Web application

• contribute towards the development of frameworks for both types of products (Web and Desktop)

• exploit DevOps technologies and frameworks, which includes automatic installation of our web-based product on different environments like Wildfly, JBoss in a Continuous Integration pipeline through Jenkins

• interact with local and international colleagues of our Indian, Italian and USA offices

What we need to see:

• Bachelor of Engineering or Masters in Computer Science/ IT/ Mechanical

• 3-5 years of work experience in Desktop Application Test Automation.

• Minimum 3 years hands on experience on Squish with Python ( Good to have)

• Good problem solving techniques

• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

• Good teamwork skills (communication, openness)

Ways to stand out from the crowd

• Work experience in DevOps implementation (which must include automation of installation process of web application, Jenkins, different DB)

• Hands-on experience on Linux platform

• Knowledge of Agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban)
